The islanders have been by farthe worst local team in the last 20 years. It sucks cause there my fav. Ican say this they do more of the ice work for charity kids and good causes than all other NY teams.

In still pusse at you NHL and even If there is a season I probably won't attend any games and won't be rushing home to catch them on tv.

Ohh man, Im over here making pans of stuffed shells, cleaning & getting things ready for the 15-20 in-laws I have coming tomorrow, My wife is baking her little tush off. All the while the kids (3 of them) are wanting to "help".... I wish I was at work!!

This is some boring a$$ sh!t. Doesn't anyone work/go on hockeybuzz anymore?

Should we start talking about the draft yet? I am not sure if they use the same system as last time they Locked out the whole season (if that indeed happens), but if that is the case the Islanders would have about 5% to 6% of a shot at first pick. I am hoping they just use the last 3 years on playoffs and first pick in draft b/c that would obviously favor the isles. If they use 4 for first pick.. JT costs us a few percentage points.

As far as the draft.. I want Popeye Jones kid Seth... anyone else? thoughts?
